14TH ANNUAL EID-UL-FITR - OCTOBER 9, 2008

This year, the Association honoured RBC Financial Group for 'ITS COMMITMENT AND INITIATIVES FOR DEVELOPING AND SUPPORTING “DIVERSITY” THAT IS REFLECTED IN ITS WORKFORCE ,ESPECIALLY IN MANAGEMENT'.

Ms. Barbara Stymiest, Chief Operating Officer, was the Keynote Speaker and Award Recipient on behalf of RBC.  Keith Sandulak's polar bear sculpture and an engraved plaque were presented to her.

The Eid celebration was held at the Ottawa Sheraton Hotel as it could not be held in Room 200, West Block, because of the Federal elections.  Mr. Charles S. Coffey, O.C. (former Executive V.P.- Government & Community Affairs, RBC) and Mr. Nader Abou-Guendia, Senior Consultant - Hill & Knowlton, were the emcees for the evening.
